Will the SRK magic work this time?
Shah Rukh has been on a promotional spree leading up to the release of his superhero flick. For the past few days SRK is everywhere, doing what the audience love to see him do- giving the Big B a massage on 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', talking about how reel and real life blurs at times with Barkha Dutt on NDTV, telling his biggest fan, Farukh about his childhood on UTV STARS' 'Live My Life'.
Love him? Hate him? But you just can't ignore him. The thing about SRK is that he is total 'paisa vasool'. He might turn up late for every promotional event but he is sure to entertain once he arrives, saying the right thing, giving the right sound byte and ever ready to break into a dance or do the 'Chammak Challo' number wherever possible.

I am not sure how seriously Shah Rukh takes himself as an actor but he sure does take himself seriously as an entertainer. While a lot of Bollywood actors might refuse to do commercials and dance at weddings, SRK has no problem breaking into a spontaneous jig on demand. In his own words Shah Rukh had once said that he's
like the 'madari', ready to perform anywhere.
RA.One releases today and it's interesting how King Khan responds to question about why the film is important to him. He talks about the time he has invested, he talks about the technology used, he talks about how superhero films are important for Bollywood but he never talks about the Rs 175 crore that has been spent on the making of the film. When asked about the budget, he nonchalantly dismisses it, as if it's no big deal. He says that it's more important for him to have tried something new and different from what he has been doing all these years. It's safe for him to play a romantic hero but can he be a convincing superhero?
Bollywood Stars and their Injuries
2011 seems like an injurious year; at least for our Bollywood stars who had to face some major health issues.
Whether these stars are too fragile or their work pressure is excruciatingly tough on them, they are only human and, hence, prone to illness. While some have suffered heatstrokes, others have had to endure fractures, exhaustion, etc.
Here are some of the stars who, very recently, had to face health issues.

Here are some of the stars who, very recently, had to face health issues.
Hrithik Roshan
Hrithik Roshan's upcoming movie 'Agneepath' appears to be taking a heavy toll on him. First he suffered a major heatstroke after shooting in the torrid heat. After only a few days Hrithik had to be rushed to the hospital owing to severe back injury. The back injury was reportedly caused because Hrithik had lifted a burly fighter for a scene. Meanwhile Papa Roshan insists that his backache is due to excessive workload and all he needed was rest.
Sanjay Dutt
Like Hrithik, Sanjay Dutt also, reportedly, suffered a heatstroke on the sets of the movie 'Department'. Sanju was taken to the Lilavati hospital immediately while the shooting for the day was brought to a close. Earlier in the year too, Sanju had injured himself on the sets of 'Players' after he dropped a dumbbell on his foot and developed a hairline crack.
Vidya Balan
Vidya Balan fell prey to exhaustion after continuous shooting for 'The Dirty Picture'. After complaining of feeling dizzy and restless, she was admitted to the hospital. After several tests, the results indicated that her haemoglobin level was too low and the doctor advised her complete rest, which put the filming process on hold.
Amitabh & Abhishek Bachchan
The father-son duo also had a taste of injury this year almost at the same time. While Amitabh Bachchan suffered a hairline fracture on his rib, son Abhishek injured himself twice while shooting for Rohit Shetty's 'Bol Bachchan'. First he hurt himself on his forehead, needing six stitches, and then, fractured his finger.
Vivek Oberoi
While filming a stunt for his upcoming movie 'Zilla Ghaziabad', Vivek Oberoi had a nasty fall injuring his back. Following this accident, Vivek was sent back to Mumbai on sick leave.Later, he tweeted that he was just fine and raring to get back to work. Vivek once had a major accident while shooting for Mani Ratnam's film 'Yuva'.
Salman Khan
Salman Khan joined the list of injured Bollywood stars after he had to undergo surgery for a neurological condition called trigeminal neuralgia. The nerve condition had dogged him for several years but after it caused him unbearable pain while the filming of 'Bodyguard', the star decided to rid himself of it.
