Bipasha dazzles Lalbaugcha Raja

Day 5 of Ganapati and it was Bipasha Basu's turn to seek blessings from the deity. In full traditional regalia, Bips headed to Lalbaugcha Raja on Monday.

 

Accompanying the red and blue salwar kameez clad actress was Sonu Nigam, the singer sporting a white chikankari kurta. Braving the crowd at Lalbaug, Bipasha even participated in the evening prayer. Sonu, being a singer, offered his prayers to Ganesha through a microphone.

The Carnage actress donned another British designer this time opting for a Stella McCartney optical illusion shift dress that emphasised her great figure. The dress boasted cream, nude and black panelling that hugged Kate’s curves to perfection.

The actress teamed the dress, which continued her sleek and sophisticated style from yesterday with a pair of peep toe black heels.

And once again jewellery was minimal with Kate wearing a pair of pearl earrings and a pearl embellished cuff.
To finish off the demure look her hair had been tousled into a low bun with a sweeping side parting.

Kate looked every inch the leading lade as she arrived on the red carpet for the premiere of her film Mildred Pierce at the Venice Film Festival.

Kate’s co-star Rachel Evan Wood donned a black Alessandro Rich dress with lace detail stripes across her torso and a split up to her thigh which made for a subtle yet alluring look.

The actress, who play's Winslet's daughter in the period HBO TV movie opted for 60’s style eyes with plenty of lashing of dark liquid eyeliner and she had her short cropped hair slicked to the side.

The film, set in the 1930's, sees Kate playing a divorced single mother who decides to open a restaurant business, which tears at the already-strained relationship with her daughter, Veda, played by Evan Wood.

And the melodramatic mini series has received critical acclaim having scored 21 Emmy nominations.

Earlier in the day the pair had joined actor Guy Pierce and director Todd Haynes at a photocall for the film and both women were decked out in dramatically different looks.

Kate donned a black shorts style tuxedo suit.with another pair of peep toe heels outshining Rachel who was dressed in a pair of black jeans, a white satin blouse and a black waistcoat.

Last night Kate wowed in a taupe figure hugging Victoria Beckham dress to attend the Carnage premiere.

Bipasha Basu has cleared the air about her and Ranbir Kapoor. The actress states on her micro-blogging site, "Am wooing Ranbir! Bizarre! Just because I love Rockstar trailer and I tweeted about it!

 

Ranbir is an awesome guy but I don't need to woo him like this. I like to be wooed, I don't need to woo anyone for that matter."

Bips was impressed with the trailer of Rockstar and tweeted about it which led to speculation that she was trying to impress RK.

Apparently a lot of people told Kareena that she and Salman had little chemistry in their previous films and even TV commercials together, but now she feels that Bodyguard has changed the game for her.
