In Focus: Paris Hilton's India Trip

Paris Hilton finally arrived in India and created quite a storm before she left. The amount of anticipation that was seen in the country was nothing short of huge. She was received with a lot of love by her fans in the country and going by her tweets, Paris hardly had a single dull moment during her stay. Here is what all Paris Hilton was up to in her short trip to Mumbai.

Unveiling PHpurses

Paris's first priority was to unveil the Paris Hilton purses, which she did amidst much fanfare. She officially opened her store at the Inorbit Mall in Mumbai for her Indian followers. A huge crowd gathered at the mall just to catch a glimpse of the heiress only proving that her popularity in India isn't any less than what the Bollywood stars receive.

Of course, Paris Hilton and paparazzi go hand in glove with one another, and not just in Hollywood but in India too. The media frenzy was apparent from the moment Paris landed in the country. The media even caught her act of benevolence i.e. giving $100 to a beggar woman, on camera.

A trip to India ensures that people from foreign countries get a healthy dose of the Indian tradition and Paris Hilton was no exception. She wore a sari-inspired gown designed by our very own Rocky S.

How can any trip by Paris Hilton be complete without her displaying her commendable partying skills? Known to be the ultimate party animal, Paris had a special welcome party thrown in her honor by socialite Queenie Dhody. The party was a high profile one which saw many Bollywood stars like Sushmita Sen, Kangana Ranaut and Shahzahn Padamsee in attendance.
